Recently, the signing ceremony of the cooperation project between Shandong Runde Biotechnology Co.,ltd. and Jiangnan University was held at Jiangnan University. Chen Jian, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and chief scientist of the Future Food Science Center of Jiangnan University, Liu Long, dean of the School of Bioengineering of Jiangnan University, Lu Jianxing, general manager of Shandong Runde Biotechnology Co.,ltd., and Li Guiling, R&D director of Shandong Runde Biotechnology Co.,ltd. attended the ceremony.
Runde Bio and Jiangnan University have complemented each other's strengths and shared resources to jointly break through the technical bottleneck that restricts the development of the glucosamine industry and realize the transformation of 10,000 tons of glucosamine scientific and technological achievements. The relevant technology won the China Industrial Award, the National Federation of Commerce Science and Technology Progress Special Award, the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology First Prize, and the China Patent Award Excellence Award.
At the signing ceremony, the two parties made prospects and arrangements for the project cooperation in the next five years, and expressed that they would further expand cooperation in talent training, academic exchanges, etc. on the basis of project cooperation. This signing is a new milestone in the cooperation between the two parties. The two parties will continue to explore deeper, more diverse and wider cooperation, and jointly write a new chapter of win-win cooperation and joint development!

N-Acetyle glucosamine(NAG) was officially approved as a new food raw material by the National Health Commission on January 24, 2023. N-Acetyle glucosamine(NAG) is an important component of many important polysaccharides in biological cells.
As the first drafting unit, Runde Bio formulated two industry standards, "N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine" QB/T 5854-2023 and "Glucosamine" QB/T 5853-2023, which were issued on May 22 this year and implemented on November 1.
